Have you heard about the earth-like planet -Kepler 186f, and you are wondering how life could possibly be on the planet? Let me give you the points you might be interested in. I will actually like you to understand beforehand that every discovery about this planet, such as the sunrise and sunset, has not been made, but this planet has its own star and day, similar to the earth in many ways.

This planet is considered to be at the right distance from its star and also has water bodies in liquid form also. This exoplanet is discovered to be bigger than the earth with about an 11 percent increment. A day in Kepler 186f, I'd discovered to be less than 24 hours. Nevertheless, the earth takes 365 days to complete an orbit around its star, but Kepler 186f takes just about 130 earth days to make a year.

As Kepler 186f orbits around its star, it maintains a nearly circular motion and maintaining an equal distance from the Kepler 186, so you would not really experience a change in temperature on the planet as such.

The size and mass of this planet is half of what the size of the Sun is. Compared to the Sun, Kepler 186f is not as bright.

Life on Kepler 186f would be shorter than on Earth. For Earth, it takes 365 days to make up a year. A year on Kepler 186f would only be 130 days. Along with that, Kepler 186f would not have as many temperature changes as it is on Earth because it is not as far from the Sun.

Though the planet that is referred to as Kepler-186f is over 500 light years away from where humans live on Earth, there is a lot that is known about it. Compared to Earth, Kepler-186f has a very similar size. When you are comparing the diameter between the two, they are both the same distance around them. Kepler-186f is only about 11% larger than Earth.

One of the key differences between the two is the temperature of the planet Kepler-186f. It is much colder on Kepler-186f than it is on Earth. Kepler-186f is about negative 121 degrees Fareinheight. This is the normal temperature for this planet, while in Earth this would be extremely cold.

If there is life on Kepler 186f, it may have started millions of years before, or the afterlife on Earth. We might arrive at Kepler 186f and find the equivalent of dinosaurs or green algae. Kepler’s 186f’s location within the habitable zone does not ensure that it is livable. It also depends on the atmospheric characteristics, which are unknown.

The star hosts four other planets discovered so far, although Kepler 186 b, c, d, and e being too close to their star, are considered too hot to have liquid water. The planet is also closer to its star than Earth is to the sun, which means that it will probably rotate much more slowly than Earth.

There are different features of the planet earth that allows life to exist on earth properly. For example, the planet comes with the right atmosphere that will provide the perfect balance to make sure that the sun’s rays and heat will just hit the people who are living in it correctly. The earth also has a strong magnetosphere which means that it can protect the planet from cosmic radiation.

If the same would happen to the earth−like planet, then maybe people and other life forms on earth can also live the same way. It will just be helpful if people would learn to take care of the planet more so that it would be able to last for a longer period of time.

It was announced n the year 2014 the discovery of Kepler 186f, which happened to be the first exoplanet that was found in its star’s habitable zone. This is a space region in a planetary system where liquid water could exist.

This exoplanet size is similar to that of the earth, and its size and mass are equivalent to half of that of the sun. This Kepler 186 star is definitely dimmer than the sun. Imagining how life would be like on the Kepler 186f; unlike the earth that takes 365 days to make a year, the earth-like Kepler 186f takes just 130 days of the earth to complete an orbit round its star.

Unlike the earth where you might experience seasonal differences in the temperature, the Kepler 186 difference would most likely be different. You would not really experience such in the Kepler 186f because of its distance from its star.
