Is Tesla more of a car company or computer company?

Tesla currently builds cars that people drive. They are presently purchasing a company called DeepScale. This company could help Telsa make driverless vehicles. It would abolish the driver, and the car would be operated entirely by computer.

The computer would have plotting capabilities and allow the automobile to make sense of what's going on around it, just as a person would. Currently, Telsa is not a computer company, with the exception of using computers to build or diagram the cars they are presently developing. Telsa builds a battery, and they use that to power Telsa cars and to collect energy from solar panels, and that power goes through a converter that changes DC to AC.

Tesla, Inc. is an American automotive and energy company that is located in Palo Alto, California. The company specialized in electric car manufacturing, and, through its solar city subsidiary, solar panel manufacturing. It operates multiple production and assembly plants, and its central vehicle manufacturing facility at the Tesla Factory in Fremont, California.

Tesla was founded in July 2003 by engineers Martin Eberhard and Mare Cor. After it acquired Solar City, Tesla stopped using the door to door sales tactics for solar systems. Tesla aims to change the automotive industry by creating many innovative pieces that fit together. This strategy was called “complex coordination.”

Based on the company’s website, the Tesla Company was created in order to build a car that was based on electricity instead of fossil fuel. It began in 2003 and has grown over the years to produce other products including those that pertain to storage and other electrical modes of transportation. Most recently, Tesla built a car that is called the Model X and this vehicle is considered to be an SUV.

Other products include those that help keep the energy used in your house to a minimum. These include solar panels for the roof and power pack features. These have to do with batteries that produce or sustainable energy for the house. At this point, Tesla is on its way to making more and more products for cars.
