Introduction

What is Performance Management

This session aims to ensure that everyone in the
organisation:


• has a clear understanding of the concept of PMD
• recognises the benefits for the organisation, and the individuals and teams in it
• is involved in assessing how well the organisation is currently managing performance and development
• is involved in developing an action plan for applying
PMD within the organisation.

Communicating the Vision

The purpose of this session is to provide senior management groups and line managers with opportunities to develop their skills in communication and gaining employee commitment.

The Corporate Vision

This session assumes that the organisation already has a
Business Plan. The purpose of the activity is not to rewrite that plan, but to help to compile a Vision based upon it that will focus and inspire employees' efforts.
