The program content is based on time-tested training principles including modules on: learning theory, setting objectives, design, delivery, use of visual aids, audience facilitation and evaluation methods. Presentation Overview

In this chapter you'll establish to your delegates what is expected from a presentation.

One Minute Presentation

This module is intended as an early assessment of delegate’s presentation skills.

The one minute presentation is designed for the 2-day course but you may choose to amend the agenda and include it if you plan to run this course over 1-day (especially if your delegates are very new to presenting or you have less than delegates to train). If you do video the trainees keep the footage so that you can highlight improvements.

N.B. Always check your equipment prior to videoing the delegates; there’s nothing worse than to find the equipment is faulty or incompatible (this is especially pertinent if you playback using a digital projector or flat screen TV).

Establishing your Aims

In this chapter you'll teach delegates to understand the importance of establishing key aims and objectives for
their presentation enabling them to write and structure the presentation more effectively.
