Narrator: I knew you will be interested for today’s discussion because we will be talking about the Bonaparte family. Yes, that will be including the very famous Napoleon Bonaparte, the emperor and let us not forget, the master of half of Europe. Now, why do we need to look up at this noble man? I mean such a fine master that he allowed his brothers and sisters rule the lands under his name. He made them queens, kings, duchesses and princes. His mother is a strong willed and an energetic woman name Laetitia. His dad Charles is a political visionary and an impractical schemer. His eldest brother Joseph was said to be a man of talent and culture. Lucien his second brother was believed to be an ardent republican. Ruling is out of his league but earned him an honor of becoming a  prince. On the other hand, Luis ruled Holland and was latter known as a philanthropist.  Now, the other brothers and sisters will be your homework and we will be continuing that on Friday.    Question: What  can be inferred at the end of the lecture?

Narrator: Egypt is one legendary country, and well not to mention their participation in the bible. Now, before we proceed to the bible’s teachings, we will be focusing first in their arts. Well, that’s why I marked them as legendary because of their mystical, breathtaking and highly artistic culture.  Over 5000 years ago, Egypt had introduced a style that lasted for about 3,000 years. Their sculpture in particular flourished in a depiction of half human, half animal. It lasted for long until they were colonized by the Persians, the Greeks and the Romans. One of their most exquisite arts is that of Queen Nofretete. It was portrayed with subtly modeled surface, painted, has an elegant flow of neck and above all, it exposes an astonishing realism. This art is now at the Archaeological Museum in Florence, Italy. This was created in 1350 B.C. Aside from that; some of their famous sculptures include the great Sphinx at Gizeh. For eternal life and power, they carved Rameses II at Abu Simbel.  Question: What kind of art did the lecture discuss?

Narrator: A sea horse is a sea miniature that looks like a knight in a chess game. Well, that is not how science portrays sea horse though. Its head looks like a horse and swims upright.  If you have noticed them, their body’s appearance is likely studded with spines and there are ring like plates along it too.  In general their body is bony. The tail that often curls at the tip can grasp things. It usually curls around sea plants’ stem to keep still.  Its eye and its mouth are independently moving too.  The most intriguing about this creature is that, it is the male and not the female that carries along fertilized eggs. They have a pocket on their abdomen where the female can lay hundreds of eggs at a time. They call it brood pouch.  Here, the eggs remain until they hatch. Once they hatch however, they are on their own because the opening of the male seahorse’s pouch is too narrow for them to enter.   Question: The following statements are NOT true about the passage except

      Female seahorse carry their eggs

    • C.
