4. Narrator: When it comes to Industrial Revolution, we are always reminded of how it started during the 18th century in Britain.  It was the population growth and the technological change that initialized the massive social transformations.  Now, it was those two factors that made great impact including vast political and financial support, investors and of course the new inventions. Trading and extensive geographic exploration were also done that formed a more liberalized community. At that moment the government supported and encouraged researches and other developments.  They sold the goods to their colonies too. Well, if you can remember, Britain was the most powerful and influential country before, colonizing 90% of the world. Now we call the system as captive market.  For example, they will produce cottons in India (as one of their colonies) but they'll have to export them in Britain where they'll have to process these into fabrics then those clothes will be sold to India. That is the only cloth to be sold in India.   Question:  What can be inferred about the Industrialized Revolution in Britain?

Submit

5. Narrator: Who do you think of when Science is mentioned, Sir Albert Einstein as the father of modern physics or Isaac Newton on the law of gravity? Those people you mentioned made some notable works in the evolution of science. Now, Newton is more of a physicist and a mathematician. He founded calculus, studied on the mechanics of planetary motion, extended the understanding of color and light and lastly, discovered the law of gravitation. Well, Einstein is a theoretical physicist too; I mean he developed the theory of relativity. Einstein's theory of relativity became one of the two pillars of modern physics. These two people founded solid evidences and understandings of the world. They are undeniably geniuses but Newton is the chief figure of the scientific revolution of the 17th century right? So, Einstein became the father of modern physics in the 20th when he outdated the formulas done by Newton. Alright so moving on… Question: What can be inferred about Einstein?
