Narrator:  Moving on, Wallacea is found between Asia and Australia. This is a very interesting zoogeographic region because of its unique animal and plant life. All of them are characterized by possessing a diversified species making up what we call the giant gene pool. Now when we say gene pool, this is the total genetic material available for species at a given time.  In there, the bigger the gene pool is, the more genetic materials available for the population to evolve to and finally adapt to their respective environments. They would be evolving relationships with different species, and then would be moving to another region creating another unique gene pool. Going back to Wallacea, this region has an enormous diversity within its relatively narrow area.  Examples are the marsupials, a different mammal not belonging to the placental. There are also transitions with the species where in the westward part consist of fewer Asian species and more of Australian species.  Question: Why did the professor say this: "Moving on..."

Narrator: What is our specie termed again according to biology? Because, we were identified as animals but we are on top of the pyramid right? That’s why we are called Homo sapiens, and this was the named coiled by Carolus Linnaeus which means “wise man”.  He did that during his experiment or shall I say research in classifying and categorizing plants and animals.  From his categories he ranked us as primates. When we say primates, it means “first in rank”.  Although, I personally wonder why he has to include humans in line with plants and animals then ranking them as the first ones? Anyway, along with the primates are the new world monkeys, old world monkeys, then of course the apes.  So for monkeys and apes they do that. But then, humans and apes have their distinct group because of morphology. One specific difference is our comparatively large brains. What differ us from the apes is the absence of the tail. Question: According to the passage, what is true among men?
