: Did you know why our body is so wonderful? When it comes to the mechanism of our body, it is automatic. It can regulate by itself. It can keep the body's temperature normal. Not only that, the level of oxygen in the blood is also stabilized. This tendency of the body to well, keep the variables within an acceptable range is called homeostasis. Homeostasis works as a heating and as a cooling system so it is also referred to as thermostat. So, when the body's temperature drops, the body will try and will start to generate heat to level up its temperature. We can attain this by jumping or running around. But when our body does it, we start shivering. Now, if our body is feeling high temperature, it will try to cool down too. That's why when we feel hot, we start sweating. That is the body's mechanism of cooling off.

: Water is an essential part of our daily survival. Without it, we may not be able to last a week. However, we must ensure that what we use or we drink what is safe. Most households use softeners to correct impurities on waters. Well, before I proceed, there are two types of water that we use at home. They are distinguished as hard water and soft water. The hard water is what we directly utilized from the faucet or the tap water. This water does not react well with soap so if you had tried it on your clothes, it will develop grayish look on the water. It can also cause electrical problems with the minerals it leaves like on water heaters. Those are some of the many reasons why people choose to use softeners. They will dissolve calcium and magnesium on hard waters. However, there is a study saying that the harder the water supply is, the lesser the cause of heart disease.
