Narrator
: Who knew about William Edward Burghardt Du Bois? As a head start, he is one of sociology's pioneers in the United States. He believed and wanted to apply sociology in solving the "pressing" problems during his time like the racial discrimination and inequality. He became a founding member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP). He said that, white people can simply be "Americans" while "African- Americans" are never able to escape identification because of their color. That is why in his book um… The Philadelphia Negro: A Society Study (1899), he identified the strengths and the weaknesses of the people who are battling with extreme social problems. He challenged black inferiority and white prejudice. He also criticized the black people who are willing to cut and give up their ties with the black community just to win the whites. However, even though he worked hard on eliminating inferiority among black people, he had gone bitter and left the USA during his time when the change his hoping for was hardly seen.

NARRATOR:
We have a new topic for today regarding Epileptic Seizures and Non-Epileptic Seizure. The two seizures often make the victim fall on to the ground. So, what could be the differences between Epileptic Seizure and Non-Epileptic Seizure? Well, epilepsy is a disorder of the nervous system that produces convulsive seizures. In addition, it is also called as the "excessive yet abnormal neuronal activity in the brain." Now, when we say non-epileptic seizure it does not have something to do with epilepsy. When the brain losses control of its functions, the person will totally lose body control causing them labored breathing, saliva will start appearing in their lips, the face will either turn bluish or pale and eventually falls. Non-epileptic seizure imitates these symptoms though it doesn't have something to do with any abnormal, rhythmic discharge of cortical neurons. They are caused by either physiological or physiological conditions.
