So, what could be the differences between Epileptic Seizure and Non-Epileptic Seizure? Well, epilepsy is a disorder of the nervous system that produces convulsive seizures. In addition, it is also called as the "excessive yet abnormal neuronal activity in the brain." Now, when we say non-epileptic seizure it does not have something to do with epilepsy. When the brain losses control of its functions, the person will totally lose body control causing them labored breathing, saliva will start appearing in their lips, the face will either turn bluish or pale and eventually falls. Non-epileptic seizure imitates these symptoms though it doesn't have something to do with any abnormal, rhythmic discharge of cortical neurons.
