When reviewing and grading completed fill in the blank questions, the current display of the students answers are not very easy to follow and makes grading multiple questions very slow and challenging. Is there perhaps a clearer way to display the students answers for grading purposes?
Hi Andrew Fill in the blanks questions are graded automatically depending on the scoring type you have chosen. Please let us know your queries regarding the scoring and reporting in detail at [email protected] Thanks Team ProProfs
I totally agree with this one. It forces teachers to test one or max. two sentences per question. Much better would be to have the possibility to have a gap-fill task with an infinite amount of gaps and an eye-friendly way of checking for the teacher.
I know that the fill-in-the-blanks are automatically graded, but sometimes students complete the blanks with a minor spelling error or even a correct answer I did not think of when setting up the key. I like to go back in and check fill-in-the-blank for that reason. I agree with others on here that it is very difficult to bulk check 70 students on a question with multiple fill-in-the-blanks because the display of their answers is hard to read and often some answers are cut off. A simpler way to view answers to the multiple answers would help a lot.
