Narrator:
Vitamins and minerals are good regulators of hormones and egg production. The thyroid functions well regulating hormones with iodine. Infertilities and miscarriages may happen when the thyroid produced unhealthy hormones. Furthermore, vitamin D creates reproductive hormones that promote balance and regulate ovulation. On the other hand, vitamin C and B6 are helpful for women with luteal phase defect. Zinc, in addition, is also responsible in producing mature and ripe eggs ready for fertilization. It is also responsible in maintaining enough fluid for the egg to travel on until it meets with the sperm. Other than that, it normalizes hormones throughout the menstrual cycle for a successful implant. Selenium protects the egg from radicals making it fully healthy during the time of fertilization. Women with low iron level are also susceptible to infertility due to lack of ovulation and poor eggs. In addition, insufficiency on vitamin D can decrease fertility for at least 75%, according to studies.

Culture is said to be the complex whole which includes knowledge, belief, morals, arts, law, customs and other capabilities and habit acquired by a man as a member of a society according to Garcia. Sociologists however study culture into two categories, material culture and non-material culture. They say that material culture pertains to the physical objects, spaces and resources that people opt to use to define their culture like schools, mosques, temples, homes, products and goods. These aspects are believed to affect the perceptions and behaviors of the community. On the other hand, non-material culture consists of their ideas and several processes that a culture uses to define their members. That would include their thoughts, behaviors, feelings, values, norms, languages and the like. Unlike material culture, non-material culture cannot be preserved in museums but can be documented and let it be observed on feasts to be continually practiced. This process helps in transmitting the cultural practices to avoid its death.
