No. CMC® – Certified Medical Coder is an independent professional certification program developed and issued by PMBAUSA LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by, or sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO), SNOMED International, CMS, Medicare, or any federal, state, or international regulatory authority.
The program provides structured educational training in classification and terminology systems including ICD-11, SNOMED CT, LOINC, and ATC for academic and professional development purposes.
