Is FAPMC™ recognized or endorsed by CMS, AMA, or any government regulatory authority?
No. FAPMC™ – Fellowship in Anesthesia and Pain Management Coding is an independent educational and professional development program developed and issued by PMBAUSA LLC. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, accredited by, or sponsored by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Medicare, the American Medical Association (AMA), or any federal, state, or international regulatory authority.
This fellowship is designed solely for academic learning and professional skill enhancement in anesthesia and pain management coding principles. Completion of this program does not grant medical licensure, governmental certification, payer enrollment authority, or authorization to submit claims on behalf of any healthcare provider or institution.
Participants remain responsible for consulting official CPT® manuals, ICD-10-CM coding guidelines, CMS anesthesia billing regulations, Medicare manuals, payer-specific policies, and applicable compliance standards for authoritative and current coding guidance. Anesthesia reimbursement methodologies, conversion factors, concurrency rules, and regulatory requirements may change over time. Professionals must rely on official governmental and payer-issued publications for final coding and billing decisions.
PMBAUSA LLC provides structured educational training only and does not represent any governmental agency, regulatory body, or reimbursement authority. Enrollment in and completion of the FAPMC™ fellowship should be considered a professional upskilling opportunity and not a substitute for statutory compliance, institutional policy requirements, or legal obligations applicable to healthcare organizations.
