ProProfs Suggestions

Hi I offer coaching programs. With this I would give a client an online training and then let them work on certain questions. I list the questions and below each question they can fill the answers. The answers are NOT multiple choice. It is simply a form which they have to complete. Each student must answer their own questions and students cannot see other student's answers.

Then I log in per student and comment on their answers. They can then comment again. This is a great addition to the training module. Look at Jigsaw.com (your competitor). they have implemented this.

I really like what Proprofs can do,  However it is most unfortunate (IMHO) that your plans are out of reach for single classroom teachers and homeschoolers.  There is quite a bit of gap between your free plan which does not offers  online classroom, learners reporting etc...  All features needed really for properly administrating a classroom or homeschoolers.

Why not offer a plan for family/Homeschoolers at a very low price with all the features but limit to one group and let say 6 learners.

The same could be done for a single classroom teacher, or a small group but limit the amount of learners to 40.

You have a wonderful system but it is appealing to corporation and institution only at the present prices.  Why not serve the smaller players? Seems to me there would be very little programming change for you to implement and huge potential.

Currently, there is an option under the Notifications tab to have an email sent to a given email address each time someone takes a quiz. 

What would be more helpful is if we could have the results report emailed to a given email address on a weekly or monthly interval. That way our administrator wouldn't have to run a report for ALL active quizzes each week - it can be set to run automatically. Ideally, we could choose either a weekly or monthly interval.

When I first start making a flashcard it had many features such as changing font and font size, making points, etc. however when I save the flashcard and go back to edit or add more card a simplistic box opens instead of the one I had originally. I think it would be a good idea to make sure people are able to change fonts, font size, and make points  for point form flashcards all the time. The simplistic box really makes making flashcards a pain.

It would we helpful to have demographic information listed separately in order to properly sort exported ProProfs reports. For example, there would be a field for the person's title, first name, and last name.    

Images will not upload, giving a message that says it must be in a certain format, when it is already in one of those formats.  Tried PNG and JPEG.

Hello and thank you for your product. The quizzes are excellent and I use them all the time.

I have only just discovered that you have a crossword function on your website, but have found the crossword software nowhere near as intuitive and logical as the quiz software. Most importantly, it is not possible to edit a clue after creating a crossword. One can add a clue, but that's all.

My other question was: I would like to be able to embed my own crosswords in my blog. Is this functionality ever likely to be provided?

What this website needs is a more personlized strategy where visitors can sign in and see wether they're making brain progress or not. By signing in visitors can have their own profile and index of their games results, this will show if they're actually making progress, if they aren't a little feedback should be given to help them out. This strategy will not only raise the interest on many but will also aid in the improvement of individual's cognitives which is something very essential in today's society. This is all i have to say hope u guys take my advice and good luck.

We have found an important need to allow the user to take a quiz by choosing which quiz categories they want to test from. Can this be done? Basically, they are presented a page with all of the quizzes we offer, they have checkboxes to choose each quiz like Quiz A, Quiz B, and Quiz F. This quiz we setup we specify that it will create a quiz with maximum 50 questions and the user will click "Start". This quiz will pull the questions randomly from each of these quizzes.

The major difference between what can be done now (import quiz questions into one large super quiz) is that the user can choose which quizzes they want to test from.

From the Quiz Maker view, you would just add a new radio button next to "Create a Scored Quiz" called "Create a Cumulative Quiz" and prompt the quiz maker to choose which quizzes they want to offer to the test taker. See attached image:



Can this be done? I would gladly explain in more detail how this can be created.

I have returned to Proprofs after some time away, and I see that you have changed the stats view. I like the former color bar graph of questions where I could see my whole test at a quick glance and did not have to scroll up and down the page to make comparisons between questions. Any chance that can return or be an option? Yes, it was difficult to see the whole question in the scroll box below the bar graph and the new format is better in that respect. However, it was great having that easy to see/read bar graph right at the top of the stats page.
