PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The security screening landscape has been turned inside out since the spread of COVID-19 in the United States and around the world. Post COVID-19 security screening measures have to involve close contact interactions, temperature screening and searching bags. CSSM focuses on "contactless" screening procedures by utilizing temperature screening, a touchless bag procedure, and the 9 and 3 body scanning technique while protected utilizing PPE.
The CSSM objective is to eliminate touching, utilizing clear bags and temperature checks for a contactless experience that provides the patron and staff a safe and healthy protocol. CSSM is designed to be an enhanced security screening measure that can be implemented within the framework of most already established venue security screening profiles. CSSM will be implemented with a multi-pronged approach utilizing your current procedures, current equipment, merged with new temperature screening technology as this new system of service evolves.
The CCSM certification will fortify organizational COVID-19 risk mitigation and potentially limit liability by proactively certifying security staff as an enhanced health and safety initiative.

1. Understanding COVID-19 Mitigation

The security screening landscape has been turned inside out since the spread of COVID-19 in the United States and around the world. The correlation between the guest service experience and security screening involves close contact interactions, touching, searching bags, purses, and cell phones etc. Some venues required touch and manual scanning of tickets and exposure to other touch contact points.

As we have learned from multiple COVID-19 scientific studies, the disease is effectively spread through surface contact and aerial droplets. Previous bag search models focused on concealed weapon detection and prevention by searching bags. CSSM focuses on contactless bag screening by utilizing a clear bag policy in order to effectively observe the contents of the bag without “touching” the bag. The clear bag policy is already successfully established in many stadiums. The CSSM objective is to eliminate touching personal items—utilizing clear bags and temperature checks for a contactless experience that provides the patron and staff peace of mind. CSSM takes into consideration that a large percentage of COVID-19 carriers are asymptomatic and will not display an elevated temperature. CSSM is designed to be a supplemental enhanced security screening measure that can implemented within the framework of most already established venue security screening profiles.

CSSM can be implemented with a multipronged approach utilizing current procedures, current equipment, and development of new technology as this new system of service evolves.
