This course is completely self-paced, so you can begin at any time and set your own pace. The "Ruminar" Sections can be taken in any order but all must be completed before you can take the final examination, which will be held virtually or at a live event. Additional "action" requirements for official certification will be described in the "Final Requirements Information" section of the course. Upon completion of the online course, you will be able to download a digital copy of the Rummelier® Certificate. You will receive a hard copy of your Official Certificate via mail along with your Rummelier® pin upon satisfying your action requirements and the final examination. At this point, your name will be added to the list of certified Rummeliers® on the website. (note: The Royal Rum Society cannot guarantee the arrival of the certificate and pin due to customs regulations in certain countries.)

By clicking on the "Enroll" button you will be directed to the payment option. Upon completion of payment, you will be granted access to the course. 

The course is divided into 9 separate sections covering various aspects of rum. The course consists of 19  distinct instructional and guidance videos in addition to 12 knowledge assessments.

The Rummelier® designation may be used for professional purposes in the United States. "Rummelier®" holds a U.S. federal certification trademark which is intended for this purpose.

No. Once you have satisfied the requirements, you will always be a Rummelier®! We do ask that you continue to educate yourself and keep up to date with all things rum in the future.

Once you complete the certification program, you will no longer have a "seat" in the class. However,  you will be granted access to a private "Rummeliers®" page on the website where you will be able to view all of the videos along with the knowledge assessment answer sheets. (Note: assess to the private page must be requested by the Rummelier)
