Scapular Dyskinesis

Course Description: 2 Hours (.2 CEUs)This course presents an introductory clinical understanding of the scapula and its role in the rehabilitation of shoulder injuries while specifically examining the deleterious effects associated with scapular dyskinesis. The intent of this course is to review the gross anatomy and basic movement patterns in the shoulder, the pathomechanics of scapular dysfunction, and the evaluation and treatment of the scapulothoracic complex as supported by evidence based literature. This course is presented in an online PowerPoint® format which includes audio lecture and video demonstration of techniques that can be immediately implemented into practice upon completion.
