In this Master Lecture Webinar with Dr. Teri Collins, you will learn to assess abdominal complaints, identify a child in distress, differentiate respiratory and cardiac emergencies, how to handle trauma and fractures, and more.

For more than 25 years Dr. Teri Collins has been educating healthcare workers and caring for patients. Dr. Collins—a board certified Naturopathic Physician and Registered Nurse—lives on a 100-acre ranch in rural east Texas. In 2003, she received her doctorate from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Arizona and in 1997 she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Georgia.
During her career, Dr. Collins has taught in graduate and undergraduate, technical, and hospital-based programs, and in programs for the general public. As a care provider she has worked with patients in both conventional and alternative medicine settings. Her primary area of focus is in the conventional medical arena, and as a Registered Nurse she's focused on emergency and cardiac medicine. As a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Collins has maintained a private general medicine practice that draws various clients with a wide range of conditions.

Continuing education is vital for all professionals to stay up-to-date with industry advances. In addition, most professional organizations—from the Florida Board of Health to the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Examiners—require continuing education (CE) hours to ensure regulatory compliance, educational rigor, and the highest standards of practice.

ACHS offers a wide range of online CE opportunities in integrative medicine and holistic health to help meet your CE requirements and thirst for learning! For a list of current continuing education provider approvals, click here.

As an accredited college, many organizations accept ACHS CEs. Please check with your professional body whether specific approval is required. If you are interested in having your professional organization approve ACHS CEs, please contact ACHS CSO Erika Yigzaw at [email protected].
