The Basic NMEA 2000 Installer Training Material is for students who have signed up for an upcoming NMEA Classroom or Virtual Training. This allows students to review the class before attending.There is a practice quiz at the end of all the sections. There is also an option to download the training material as a .pdf file for future reference.

Basic NMEA 2000 Training Material: PLEASE READ The Basic NMEA 2000 Training Material provides individuals who can not attend a NMEA in person classroom training event with the exact same information that is taught in the classroom. This material is geared to individuals within the marine electronics industry, along with technical boaters who do not intend to be NMEA certified, but want to purchase the information. There are 3 different sections that the Basic NMEA 2000 training material covers. You can navigate through the sections at your leisure. Skipping sections is allowed. The 25 question quiz is at the end of the sections. There is also an option to download the training material as a .pdf file for future reference. Please note that quiz completion does not award a certificate from NMEA. Only in person classroom or virtual training attendees who pass a 50 question exam are awarded a NMEA certification.
