This training consists of 5 chapters to help you become more knowledgeable about NIFA programs. Each chapter has a short review quiz to help you prepare for the final test.

You must receive an 80% or above on the final test to pass this course. The test can be taken as many times as needed. Once you have passed, you will receive a completion certificate and the title:

"NIFA Agent Specialist"

The system will send you an official certificate! The certificate is valid for 24 months. You will receive reminders to re-certify your NIFA Agent Specialist status before your expiration date approaches.

MOBILE FRIENDLY: You can take the course on any mobile device or computer system. The course does not need to be taken all at once. You can exit the course at any time and return by logging back in and continuing where you left off.

SAVE & PRINT : The course can be downloaded and saved to your computer or mobile device for future reference. You also have the option to save/print individual pages and documents included in each chapter. Look for the save and print buttons on the top right corner!

Chapter 1 - The NIFA Borrower

Chapter 1 gives you all the information you need to determine if your potential buyers could be eligible for a NIFA loan!

The chapter will end with a short quiz for a review of the chapter and to prepare you for the final test.

Chapter 2 - Programs

Chapter 2 will go over each NIFA program in detail. NIFA offers first mortgage loans such as first home, first home targeted, and the military home program. Homebuyer assistance is a second mortgage loan that potential buyers can use to put towards down payment & closing cost assistance.

The chapter will end with a short quiz for a review of the chapter and to prepare you for the final test.
