FIMC® Fellowship in Medical Coding Final Examination Terms and Conditions The FIMC Final Examination carries a total of 100 marks. Candidates must score a minimum of 70 percent to successfully pass the examination and qualify for the FIMC credential. The examination is an Open Book Examination. Candidates are permitted to refer only to the following approved coding resources: ICD 10 CM CPT HCPCS Coding Manuals Use of Google, internet search engines, AI tools, coding forums, social media groups, online answer-sharing platforms, unauthorized study guides, solved answer keys, or external assistance is strictly prohibited. Any candidate found using Google searches, AI-generated answers, copied content, external help, or unauthorized materials during the examination will have the examination cancelled immediately without refund. Copying answers from another candidate, sharing answers, discussing live examination questions, screen sharing, or distributing examination content in any format is strictly prohibited. Candidates must maintain professional ethics, honesty, and confidentiality throughout the examination process. The examination authority reserves the right to review, audit, invalidate, or reject any examination submission if suspicious activity, malpractice, unethical behavior, or policy violations are identified. Candidates will be provided with a maximum of 2 attempts to successfully clear the final examination. Failure to achieve the minimum passing score after 2 attempts may require re-registration or additional training requirements as determined by the academic committee. Examination results declared by the evaluation team shall be final. Submission of the examination indicates that the candidate fully understands and agrees to all examination terms, conditions, policies, and academic integrity requirements.
