Of course Colbert has his unique views of the sport in which no one should get offended by because it is all for laughs. It does raise the question of: "Why are Americans so bias against soccer"? I have come across people who respectfully dont like soccer and they keep it at that. Then there are the majority of others that seem to make it their duty to bash it or degrade almost every aspect of the game. From soccer fans I guess the term they like to use against these type of people in America are called "The typical American sports fan".
