CVFOA 2011 NFHS Rules Test
50 Questions

There are 50 questions to complete on this test.  This is a test, by position (that is, questions are position-specific), of the NFHS Football 2010 Rules. PLEASE NOTE, these Questions are based on the 2010 rules, there are NO questions based on the Rule Changes for 2011. The questions are in various formats, some may have one answer while others may have multiple correct answers.

You CANNOT save this test and come back to it later.  Once you start taking the test you must complete it.  If you come back at a later time, you will have to start from the beginning.

NOTE: Here are some important tips/items to follow as you take the test:

  • As you answer each question, you will immediately be told if the answer you provided was Correct or Incorrect.
  • If you get a question wrong, review the answer and reasoning given; you are to IMMEDIATELY change your answer by clicking on the 'BACK' Button on your web browser and then re-take the question. Be sure to know the correct answer when you do this. Do NOT go to the next question until you get the current question answered correctly. The test is designed for everyone to receive a 100% score and is designed to assure this can/will happen.
  • Sometimes after you click on the 'BACK' button, you may see a message that says you need to click on the 'REFRESH' button; if you see that message you do need to click ‘REFRESH’.  Then the question you want to change the answer for will be displayed.
  • Pay attention to the question, If it starts with "Choose the Correct Answer" there is only ONE correct answer.
  • If a question starts with "Pick All that Apply" there is MORE THAN ONE correct answer.

Once you complete the test you will immediately be shown your grade and all your responses. You will be able to print out the questions so you can review or bring them to class to discuss. This test has been created and reviewed by rules committee members of the CVFOA who have already taken and agree on the correct answers.

Make sure you understand the information above.  If you do not get a 100% score then you should go back and retake the test in Total. Since you can print out the questions and YOUR answers to use, there is only one reason to get less that 100% and that is laziness. Your score will be recorded by the testing system so there is no need to send it to anyone.

Good luck.
