With many natural product companies coming under scrutiny by the FDA, understanding what you can and cannot claim about your natural products is more important than ever before. Join us to learn more about the ins and outs of effectively marketing your natural products in compliance with FDA labeling regulations. Join ACHS Chief Strategy Officer Erika Yigzaw and ACHS GMP Compliance Director Lisa Easler in an ACHS webinar on the essentials for marketing your natural products.

In this webinar, you'll learn:

• Which laws govern claims about natural products

• Examples of claims in the natural product marketplace

• About claims that have been flagged by the FDA

About Lisa Easler JD: Lisa worked as a natural products educator and marketer in the 90s, and then more recently worked in dietary supplement manufacturing and packaging facility, focusing on compliance.  Lisa managed a label overhaul project for a dietary supplement company and has  participated in several FDA inspections, as well as a dietary supplement recall.

About Erika Yigzaw B.Com, LL.B. (Hons-First): Erika has worked in the natural health and wellness and higher education industries since 1995, including spending three years at a large law firm in New Zealand advising multinational companies on health and supplement labeling, claims, and compliance issues before joining ACHS. She has presented to various industry groups and conferences on labeling, compliance and DSHEA, and teaches business and consulting courses at ACHS. She is also a Primal Blueprint Certified Expert and a Master Gardener. Most recently, Erika spent two days lobbying for Natural Products in Washington DC with the Natural Products Association.

Continuing education is vital for all professionals to stay up-to-date with industry advances. In addition, most professional organizations—from the Florida Board of Health to the Oregon Board of Naturopathic Examiners—require continuing education (CE) hours to ensure regulatory compliance, educational rigor, and the highest standards of practice.

ACHS offers a wide range of online CE opportunities in integrative medicine and holistic health to help meet your CE requirements and thirst for learning! For a list of current continuing education provider approvals, click here

As an accredited college, many organizations accept ACHS CEs. Please check whether specific approval is required with your professional body. If you are interested in having your professional organization approve ACHS CEs, please contact ACHS CSO Erika Yigzaw at [email protected]

• Register and pay the $25 CE processing fee.
• Watch the video (approximately 90 minutes).
• Take the short CE multiple choice question assessment and successfully achieve a score of 80% or higher (you'll have two attempts). This demonstrates you have mastered the course learning outcomes above.
• Your CE certificate of completion is emailed as soon as you successfully complete the assessment.
