Physician's Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment (P.O.L.S.T.)

                                

This seminar will present P.O.L.S.T. (Physician's Orders for Life Sustaining Treatment) as mandated by
the NJ State Board of Medical Examiners.
Upon completion, participants will be able to:

Incorporate the use of P.O.L.S.T. when discussing treatment plan options with patients during
end-stage illnesses.

Increase ability to set goals of care with patients at end of life.

Ensure meaningful end of life dialogue between patient and medical professional.
