FBN: # 50-12820 Activity Purpose and/or Learning Outcomes The learner will know the approximate rates of interpersonal violence in the US. The learner will also be able to rationalize the reasons that interpersonal violence places a burden on the economy. The learner will be able to recall the risk factors for interpersonal violence. The learner will be able to recall the types of abuse. The learner will be able to identify the components of economic abuse. The learner will be able to recall the warning signs of domestic violence. The learner will understand the impact of violence on mental health as it relates to the attachment theory. The student will recall two US federal laws that provide funding and direct efforts towards prevention of domestic violence. The learner will be able to recall three ways that anyone can help a friend or family member who is being abused. The learner will be able to recall three ways that a healthcare provider can help the domestic violence victim to win her case. The learner will have successfully completed this course upon receiving an end-of-course passing quiz score of 75% or higher At the end of this course, and upon successful completion, the learner will achieve four (4) contact hour towards continuing credits and/or renewal of license. The learner will be awarded a certificate of attendance, upon successful completion. The learner will be afforded the opportunity to evaluate the course, via an evaluation form Successful Completion of this Continuing Nursing Education Activity In order to successfully complete this activity and receive full contact-hour(s) credit for this CNE activity, you must: a.
