This placement evaluation is intended to help the instructor make a custom syllabus and learning plan for students who wish to enroll in the guided lab study class 'writing for success'. Students that are not able to produce three authentic writing samples (not substitution or modeling practice) need to take this test. *Writing samples should vary in nature and be no more than thirty days old. This will allow the instructor to know if the student needs to work on basic structure, fluency or other issues. The student will also need to describe their reason for enrolling in the course so that lessons can be curtailed for them.
