This book is about someone who dies the summer before Cici Lendons visits. The girl who dies is Zoe Cyreks. This book takes place on Crystal Lake. The Judge gets blackmailed by Trafton and Zoe gets involved. Trafton killed her one night in an empty cabin , just as the Judge leaves. Zoe's brothers find her in the cabin dead. Brody's wallet was left on the beach and everyone thinks that he killed Zoe. He is sentenced to prison for 25 years. He didnt kill her , it was Trafton but he frames Brody.
