It's an enrage.
It's an AOE move that explodes in a 10 yard radius.
It's an energy bar. He gains Blood Power every time he does damage to the raid - through his Blood beasts that successfully hit people and through his specials that do damage (Mark of the Fallen Champion, Blood Nova, Boiling Blood).
Because of Blood Nova. It does 10k AOE dmg to anyone within 10 yds. The more dmg this does, the more Saurfang gains blood power.
Because of Boiling Blood. It does 10k AOE dmg to anyone within 10 yds. The more dmg this does, the more Saurfang gains blood power.
No. Blood beasts are 95% resistant to AOE abilities and 75% resistant to diseases.
Yes. And we wonder why all the other raids don't adopt this strategy.
B-res them. The mark's gone because they died so it's safe to res.
The Mark persists through death, therefore NO RES of any kind (soulstone/b-res/ankh) should be used on the person that died with Mark.
To try to GET Saurfang as much Blood Power as possible. The more he has, the less damage he'll do to the raid.
To try to LIMIT Saurfang from getting as much Blood Power as possible. The more blood power he gets, the more Marks of the Fallen Champions go out to the raid, the faster we wipe.
Keep DPS-ing it and tank it until a ranged grabs aggro off you. It's only a few seconds anyway.
Run the hell away.
Quickly run up and make sure your frost trap is down, so the blood beasts are slowed.
Am I supposed to do something?
Keep Consecrating/do AOE abilities. Make sure you grab aggro from the Blood beasts right off the bat.
Stop ALL form of AOE grabbing abilities, AOE multi-target taunts, etc. when the beasts come out, so the ranged can get aggro. That way, you don't get hit.
