Exam Introduction
In order to become a QSAS Certified Green Professional (CGP) or Trainer, the candidate must be a licensed or certified professional, attend a QSAS training workshop, and pass the QSAS Examination.  A score of 70% or higher is required to pass the exam. Results of the exam will be communicated to candidates two weeks after the date of the exam.

Exam Content
The QSAS Exam tests a candidate’s knowledge of all QSAS criteria in order to prepare the candidate for managing a QSAS project from registration to certifi cation. A thorough understanding of all QSAS criteria goals and requirements is necessary to pass the exam. This includes a criterion’s description, measurement principle, measurement, submittal requirements, score, and evaluation procedure.

Exam Structure
The QSAS Exam consists of 60 multiple choice questions and is four hours in duration. The exam duration was determined with the assumption that candidates will have knowledge of all exam content and be familiar with all documents. The exam is open-book allowing the candidate to refer to any QSAS documents, including the Design Assessment, Design Guidelines, Training Manual, Energy Application, and Energy Guidelines. Use of a calculator is permissible. Any questions left unanswered at the end of the exam will be marked as incorrect.
