You call the supervisor on duty, Dan Strong, as he is on-call for derailments for this particular 24-hour period.Dan instructs you to call-in all members of the work crew listed above. You are also instructed to obtain overweight/oversize transportation permits from VDOT in order that they may take the 100-ton crawler crane on the job.Your first call to Pete Smith is not answered even though he is on-call that night.Please describe what actions/steps you would take in order to ensure that Cranemasters crew and equipment is able to leave our facility within 45 minutes of receipt of the call from CSX.
