Quiz: Internal Audit and Artificial Intelligence
10 Questions

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not new and has been a trending topic in recent years. Organisations are investing in AI research and applications to automate, augment, or replicate human intelligence — human analytical and/or decision-making — and the internal auditing profession must be prepared to fully participate in organisational AI initiatives.

Watch these videos on “AI” by Mr Melvin Yang, Technology Specialist, Handshakes, and “IIA’s Artificial Intelligence Auditing Framework” by Mr Vincent Cheang, Managing Director and Director of Internal Audit, GIC, for a brief introduction to what AI is about, and also in the context of internal audit, what role you can play and the kinds of skills that are needed.

To further reinforce your knowledge gained from the videos, read the first report of a special three-part series – “Artificial Intelligence – Considerations for the Profession of Internal Auditing” by The IIA, and answer a few questions to review your understanding of the opportunities and risks offered by AI.
