The learner will be able to state the definition of fall.
The learner will be able to recall the incidence of falls
The learner will be able to list the factors contributing to falls
The learner’s awareness of the consequences of fall will be increased
The learner will be able to identify the risk factors of fall
The learner will be able to name at least three (3) ways to prevent falls
The learner will be able to understand the concept of “community organization model” for fall prevention
The learner will be able to distinguish between the fall-risk evaluation” and “management” as a preventive approach
The learner will have successfully completed this course upon receiving an end-of-course passing quiz score of 75% or higher
At the end of this course, and upon successful completion, the learner will achieve two (2) contact hours towards continuing credits and/or renewal of license.
The learner will be awarded a certificate of attendance, upon successful completion.
The learner will be afforded the opportunity to evaluate the course, via an evaluation form
