Business Intelligence Quizzes & Trivia

Social Intelligence refers to the way in which people interact with those around them. It is a theory ripe for taking into business, especially business that is conducted online in the social networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. This light hearted quiz asks the essential questions that mean the difference between success and failure in this online environment. Online social networks are full of people who are keen to connect with others who share their past, their present or their interests. It is an opportunity for businesses of all shapes and sizes to meet, and greet, potential collaborators, business partners, customers and suppliers. And yet, many businesses seem to be reluctant to pop a toe in the water and back away from the opportunity.

You May Get

Online Social Guru

People that fall into this category are the super-hero's of the online social networking world. They know how to use the technology AND how to connect with people in a meaningful way. This means that their business thrives.  They are constantly looking for more ways to connect with their chosen audience and they are highly respected across many different sectors, not only in their own industry.  They may be referred to as Maven's and Thought Leaders.  Where these people go, others will almost certainly follow.  Congratulations, you’ve got it sussed.

Networking Diva

Those that fall into this category are well on their way to becoming an Online Social Guru.  They are brilliant at telling you what the next ‘big thing is going to be’ online and will often be the first to start singing from the rooftops about a new opportunity that everyone should be using.  The only thing that stops them from moving onto the next level is that their focus on the technology means they can miss the point sometimes.   The most important aspect of online social networking is in the word social.  It’s about people and relationships – the technology simply facilitates the process of connecting with people and having real and meaningful conversations.  Take a bit of time to stop, look and listen and learn a bit more about Social Intelligence, it really will help to make it even more exciting.

Curious Cat

The Curious Cat’s amongst us are those who are great at connecting with people, they love having conversations and when someone asks for help, they are there in an instant.  They often have the wisest advice on business, the best tip or the handiest hint.  The problem is that they haven’t really got to grips with the technology.  As far as they are concerned it’s all a bit of a mystery and will probably get in the way of their conversation.  To move to full Online Social Guru status, they only need to let go of the fear of technology and start doing the same wonderful job for those they don’t already know online.  Get yourself on a basic course, it'll do wonders for your confidence, and other peoples knowledge.

Time Meister

Those that fall into the category of Time Meister are those who really can’t understand what all the fuss is about.  Business is hard enough, without having to get involved in all these conversations and without having to learn whole loads of new systems and ways of doing things.  Their current systems have served them well down the years and they see little point in changing things at this stage.  In fact their motto is probably, ‘if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it’.  What they fail to realise is that moving with the times and embracing social media could easily make life easier and less busy, but in order to do that you have to invest a little time and effort at the front end to learn how it can help you.
