Activity Purpose and/or Learning Outcomes

The learner will be able to recall the Illnesses that cause cognitive impairment. 

The learner will be able to understand about memory impairment. 

The learner will be able to define explicit memory. 

The learner will be able to define implicit memory. 

The learner will be able to list Memory aids that can help the client function more independently and increase communication 

The learner will be able to define spaced retrieval training (SRT) 

The learner will be able to recall the factor contributing to the communication barrier between the cognitively impaired and the caregiver 

The learner will be able to recall the Instruments that contribute to the quality of care of the cognitively impaired. 

The learner will have successfully completed this course upon receiving a end-of-course passing quiz score of 75% or higher 

At the end of this course, and upon successful completion, the learner will achieve one (1) contact hour towards continuing credits and/or renewal of license. 

The learner will be awarded a certificate of attendance, upon successful completion. 

The learner will be afforded the opportunity to evaluate the course, via an evaluation form
