You get angry and say that they are grounded. You know they can do better than that!
Give them a hug and thank them for trying their hardest. At least they made an effort.
Sigh and tell them you expected better. And that next time they should try harder. But you are proud that there were no E's.
It doesn't really matter. Grades aren't all that important...
I work at away from home more than 100 hrs a week.
I work from home for a few hours every day.
I work away from home about 48 hours a week.
I go on business trips regularly (once every few weeks)
Mumble an apology to them at dinner and hope that they don't hear you.
Forget about it. It isn't that big of a deal.
Pull them aside later in the day and admit that you were wrong. They deserve to know that they were right, even if it is embarrassing.
Sit them down and try to come to an understanding about why this happened.
Yell at them and ground them for a month. They should know better!
Sigh and shake your head. Tell them you will see them in the morning and then give them a guilt trip at breakfast.
It doesn't really matter. I let them go wherever they want.
