Clock Spring Inspector Exam
In addition to this written test, inspector applicants must receive instruction on installation procedures and successfully complete the coursework either in-person or virtually, with a Certified Inspector Trainer. Inspector Certification requires the candidate to understand the full process for Engineered Composite Repair Systems as well as have a firm grasp of the critical hold points and quality checks which must be conducted to ensure a successful repair is implemented or to validate and extend the life of an existing repair.
A minimum score of 80% is required on this exam in order to attain your Inspector Certification.
Recertification is required annually (any 12-month period) from your last certification. This can be accomplished by reviewing installation procedures and videos, and then going online to take the Inspector Certification Exam, or by scheduling a refresher course in person with a Certified Trainer. It is the responsibility of the trainee to keep all records of certification and ensure recertification is accomplished prior to expiry.
