A quick quiz to be taken after the Google Hangout with a remote guru to evaluate gained knowledge of the navigation section of Shopify, and creating a drop down menu.
- 1.What is unique about the name and handle of the new link list being created, in comparison to the link which is being dropped down from?

It must be exactly the same.

It must be completely different.

There is nothing unique about the name and handle.
- 2.Can I create a drop down with any of the links found in my main menu, or does the system limit me to just using the word catalog?

No. You are only allowed to make a drop down coming down from below the link called Catalog.

Yes, of course! You can use whichever name you'd like, as long as the name and handle of the new link list match up with where my drop down is coming from.
- 3.Am I able to set up a drop down that has more than one tier? For example, I could click on Clothes, which drops down to Footwear, which then drops down to Shoes and Sandals?

Absolutely not. Not even with a paid theme or custom coding.

Of course! This built in to every single theme on our theme store.

It can be done in theory. But it can only be done by using a select few of the available themes, or having a web designer code it in manually.
- 4.True or False: I can point my links for the drop down menu to a variety of different areas, including a specific product, collection, page, blog, web address, etc.

False. I am limited to just pointing to a collection.
- 5.Can I rearrange the order of the links that are dropping down from the main menu?

Of course! When you are editing the new link list, simply use the little dots beside the name of the link to drag them in whichever order you wish.

No. This is far too advanced and confusing for a platform like Shopify.
