Rhetorical device is a technique that a writer or speaker uses to communicate with the reader or listener a meaning of a certain topic using a different perspective. There are five canons of rhetoric, mainly: invention which is the process of developing an argument; arrangement which is the process of arranging and organizing an argument; style which is the process of using figures of speech and other techniques; memory which is the process of memorizing and learning a speech so a speaker can deliver it without using notes; and delivery which is the process of practicing how to deliver a speech using pronunciation, gestures, and tone of voice.
