Special education is a form of learning specially provided to students with exceptional needs, such as students with learning disabilities or mental challenges. Welcome to our special education flashcards! An example of special education is the type of reading help that is provided to a student who is dyslexic, or Braille books for a student who is blind. In this section we have three groups of flashcards. In the first group of flashcards, called Special Education Services For Students In General And Special Education, we prepared ten cards and here you can read about special education history, about largest disability groups in the United States, inclusion on people with disabilities etc.

In the second group of flashcards, called Introduction To Special Education, Law, & Legal Issues, we prepared nine cards, and in this group you can learn about why some students receive special education, what are the key principles that drive special education today or who is eligible for special education. In the final group of flashcards, called Special education, we prepared twenty-three cards about unexpected achievement, dual discrepancy, ADHD and so on.
