12000 / 8 = 1500. so the x will be 150, 3150=450 and 2150=300, thus the area will be 135000 sq m

Perimeter = Distance covered in 8 min. = (12000/8 m)(60) = 1600 m. Let length = 3x meters and breadth = 2x meters. Then, 2(3x + 2x) = 1600 or x = 160. Length = 480 m and Breadth = 320 m. Area = (480 x 320) = 153600 sq. m.
