In North Carolina, the correct answer is a 30 days. "The insured must ask the agent to insure it within 30 days after the insured becomes the owner" That is strait out of the book.

On Aligned Auto Policy 9611 as well as my CT 9611 it is 30 Days.. "Such coverage will apply to the replacement auto only during the first 30 days after you become the owner unless you notify us within that 30-day period that you want us to extend coverage beyond the initial 30-days"

Answer B is correct. If an insured already has physical damage coverage for at least one vehicle under a personal auto policy, a new vehicle will be automatically covered from the date it is acquired as long as the insured notifies the insurer and requests the coverage within 14 days. It doesnt matter if the new auto is a replacement or additional vehicle.
