Firmware, in computing, is software that is embedded in a hardware device. It is often provided on flash ROM’s or as a binary image file that can be uploaded onto existing hardware by the user. EEPROM is an erasable read only memory. In computing, the cache is a component that stores data so that future requests for that data can be served faster.

CMOS is a technology used in the motherboard component that stores the primary input/output system. BIOS is a nonvolatile firmware used to perform hardware initialism during the services for operating systems and programs.
