A fenestrated drape is a sterile body sheet with a hole or window that exposes the incision site. The fenestrated drape is positioned after other drapes and towels have been placed in keeping with the procedure. It is a drape with an opening that allows exposure of the operative site. The drape helps the patient to avoid cross infection during the operation.

The fenestrated drape provides a distinctive barrier to bacterial contamination, and its advanced antimicrobial property diminishes the growth and migration of microorganisms on the skin during surgical procedures, reducing the risk of surgical site infection. It also dramatically reduces the occurrence of contamination because of it’s improved seal integrity.
