The answer to this is C. The small intestine may not be one of the organs that people find extremely important. Most people will say that it is their brain or their heart that is their most important organs. All organs are working well together to ensure that living things will function healthily. The small intestine is the part of the intestine wherein most of the absorption of fluids will occur.

This is also where a lot of food and nutrients are digested. The other 10% of the digestion happens in the large intestine. If the small intestine is not working correctly, this means that there might not be enough nutrients that will be received by the body.
