TPN infusion is administered through an intravenous infusion; usually a central line is a long-lasting IV line, surgically implanted in the chest, which goes through a vein directly in the heart. The conventional diagnosis for TPN is GI tract cancer, pancreatitis, ulcerative colitis, and cystic fibrosis.

Total parenting nutrition is a method of feeding that bypass the gastrointestinal tract. A special formula given through a vein provides most of the nutrients the body needs. This method is used when someone can’t receive food by mouth.

The answer would be Subclavian and Jugular veins because this question is referring to TPN which is Total Parenteral Nutrition.

Brachial and femoral veins

Tachypnea (an abnormally rapid rate of breathing) would indicate that the patient was still hypoxic (deficient in oxygen). The partial pressures of arterial oxygen and carbon dioxide listed are within the normal range. Eupnea refers to normal respiration.
