What is a COQ (Certificate of quality) or COA that is issued from the refinery for each batch of fuel? Why is it an intergral part of your job to know what it is and how to read it?

The Certificate of Quality is the final stage or validation of the fuel being produced for sale or distribution. The quality control manager of a fuel production site must be responsible for the development, maintenance and improvement processes and initiatives regarding the quality of output.

The manager may and probably should take samples from dispensers/fillers, as well as conducting a visual check of fuel samples. He must test the membrane filtration and measure the pressure on filter vessels. Renewable fuels from non-fossil sources have many advantages. For a start, they are more eco-friendly, producing fewer greenhouse gases.
