The answer to this is taste. There are a lot of people who have gone through some near-death experiences and so much more. Those who are able to come back always say that they can still hear what other people are saying even though all of their other senses are not working anymore. A lot of people say that their eyesight is usually one of the first sense that they lose.

The other senses will follow suit but there are a lot of people who can still hear their loved ones speaking to them even if they have already “died.” For people who are still living, it is the sense of touch that may continue to be sensitive throughout their lifetime. People’s way of touching can still provide comfort to those they love.
