The capital city of Spain is Madrid. Among all the capital cities of countries that belong to the European Union, Madrid, the capital city of Spain, is the second-largest city. In fact, Madrid is the largest city in Spain. Madrid is one of the cities in Spain where commercial activities are doing wonderfully well.

The city is filled with so many infrastructures, which you will definitely love to see. What makes Madrid so unique from other cities in Spain is that the city is filled with so many cultural activities, and you will definitely like its political atmosphere.

About 3.3 million people are living in Madrid. Madrid is also one of the historic cities in Spain, and there are a lot of natural wonders which visitors can behold. On the other hand, Barcelona is also a city in Spain, and it is the capital city of Catalonia and not the capital city of Spain.
