Adobe Garamond is a popular and attractive serif font. It was designed by Robert Slimbach from old models and it gives a slightly historical impression. Garamond is a classic font for a typeface first created by French printer Claude Garamond in the sixteenth century.

Adobe Garamond is a digital interpretation of this roman type and the italic types of Robert Granjon. First released in 1989, Adobe Garamond has become one of the most popular typographic staples in the world of desktop typography and design.
